UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS:

Each Operator will adhere to their unit's uniform requirements. As this will be a Green vs Tan Event, Woodland and DCU will be required respectively. The rest of your loadout my be whatever color you choose, but your blouse and trousers will need to be either Woodland or DCU depending on what unit you choose to enlist in.

Guys please READ the uniform requirements.

It seems that despite my intent to be as clear and concise as possible regarding Uniform Requirements, it has left others still confused. So I will clarify this issue once and for all.

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS:

GREEN = WOODLAND BDU, that is it! No DPM, No Tiger Stripe, No MARPAT, No Mossy Oak! WOODLAND BDU ONLY!!!

TAN = DCU (Desert Camouflage Uniform - Tri Color). No Multicam, No Chocolate Chip Desert Uniform, No Desert MARPAT, No Desert Tiger Stripe! DCU ONLY!

I posted these rules way ahead of time before the actual OP, with the hopes that two months notice will be more than enough time for anyone who wishes to attend to acquire the necessary uniform.  If I hear someone say that they cannot possibly save $30-40 over the course of two months to buy either BDU or DCU, then just go away. Seriously, just go.

I do NOT want to hear any bitching on this thread about the Uniform Requirements or any other rules for that matter. If you cannot conform to any of the OP requirements, then do not attend -- simple as that. The rules will not be altered for you or anyone else. Like I originally stated, these Events will not be your typical day of Airsoft. These Events are designed to plunge its participants headfirst into the world of MILSIM Airsoft, and as such, they have higher standards and requirements of their participants.

I have outlined everything as clearly and as simply as possible in the original post. Please read through it carefully before posting ANY questions. There will be an upcoming update and additional material that will be added to the original post.  Likewise, I will be posting an OP Enlistment Thread and an OP FAQ -- Enlist in one and ask your questions in the other (however, stupid questions whose answers are already clearly outlined in another thread  will not be tolerated).

From here on out too, if you are not directly linked to the creation of this event, do NOT -- I repeat -- DO NOT post any information/answers regarding this event! You do NOT know what you are talking about, and you are only serving to confuse a player base that already seems to have a very easily confused demographic.

If you are incapable of understanding these simple rules, I encourage you to find another event to get your airsoft fix.

~ K

I want to play in this game i just have a hard time finding camo that fits me.  I'm 38 L, 42 W.  I wear 2x large shirts.  If you know any place near portland or kittery maine that i can get either of that camo in my size for less then $250.00 then i'll pick up some for either side.  I just haven't found any other camo my size for a while now :(.  but i'm not trying to complain i just need a hand finding the right camo.  Thats all. well if you want to help me out i'd appritate it.   :)

ORIGINAL POST UPDATED - 14JAN10

WARNING ORDER:

Enlistment thread, Q&A Thread and Private Team Forums will be coming out by Sunday - 17JAN10.

Lastsight, Carr is correct. You may also want to check online retailers such as www.bdu.com . Google is your friend. And with $250.00 to spare on just uniforms, I'm sure you'll have no trouble locating what you need. Good luck!

Same as AEGs, id assume. You should probably keep questions like that to PM since Kiko's clearly trying to make this thread clear and concise, it's just more work for the mods to delete your post and mine
Classic, I'm going to need to confiscate your man card after that one...

Apparently, there are individuals within this community that are incapable of using common sense. Hence the original post has been updated once more.

OH COME ON GUYS. READ. THE. FIRST. PARAGRAPH.

OP:Broken Horizon is the first true MILSIM Event to be held at Harris Farm Field and will be a series of operations, with one operation per month and each operation representing a chapter in the overall story. The first event will be held in April, with one installment per month thereafter.
