ISAF forces in the region around Jalalabad Afghanistan have been Experiencing increasing actions from Taliban forces resulting in increased civilian and ISAF casualties. Tensions are at an all time high and the region is at a boiling point.
Task Force Orion, a unit consisting of the US 82nd Airborne Divisions 1/504th PIR, the British 2nd Regiment of the SAS and ODA 569 of the 10th Special Forces Group, have been moved into a recently constructed forward operating base near the Hindu Kush Mountains.
Task Force Orion has been tasked with stabilizing the region through the elimination of Taliban forces and establishing a working relationship with the local populous.
Intel:
This Operation will be run in a format familiar to those that have attended HMSG Vietnam operations in the past. A dynamic story line will unfold in front of you placing you in a movie like atmosphere. A chain of command will be in place to move the operation in a smooth manner. This will be run in a military fashion and freelancing and lone wolves will not be tolerated! Adhering to the COC ensures a smooth operation and success in your mission. This will be a 16 hour continuous operation. Participants will arrive at the firebase at 0800 and participate in 2-3 hours of training prior to the start of combat operations. Once combat has started it will run until endex at approximately midnight. Come prepared!!!
Show up ready to go!! Mags should be loaded and our gear should be able to be deployed once you arrive at the FOB. We will not wait for you! Bring enough food, water, ammo, batteries and whatever else you may need to complete the operation.

Please be aware that OP: Centurion is a straight 16-hour Military Simulation. Once it begins at 0800h, there will be no breaks, and will continue until it Endex at Midnight. Hence, you will need to be able to have EVERYTHING with you that will allow you to operate effectively for this length of time -- for OPFOR, that means being able to carry EVERYTHING that you will need on your person and into the field. We will have a base camp, but we will not have the luxury of the Firebase. This is April in New England hence I cannot stress this enough -- BE PREPARED and BE READY!
- All players must have at least one canteen or water-bearing device of water on-person during the game.
- Drinking water will NOT be provided, so be sure to bring as much as you will need for the whole Operation. It is strongly recommended that you hydrate your body at least 2 days prior MINIMUM.
- Participants may bring any food they want to the Operation.
- CSX staff will be ordering MREs in advance. If you would like to purchase MREs you must inform the Staff prior to the event -- specify how many you will need and the amount will be added to your registration.
- We will not have any extra MREs on sight...so if don't pay in advance you will not receive one.

HMSG Medic Rules
OP Centurion: Medic Rule
OP Centurion will use a very simple and realistic casualty system.
Before you go into combat you will be issued a casualty card by your squad medic. Make sure to approach a medic if you were not issued a casualty card. You are responsible for carrying a Casualty Card at all times. Carry your casualty card in your right breast pocket so the medic can find it quickly. Don’t worry if you lose your cards during combat. You can get a new one from any medic.
During combat if you are hit by a BB act like you have been shot with a bullet.
Simple as that.
If you are near a simulated explosion or a grenade detonates close by - use your best judgment to determine if you are wounded. We trust that you will go with what is best for the situation.
OP Centurion is like a movie. If you are hit, get into the scene and play your part. Other participants will do the same for you when they become a casualty.
To reiterate: When you are hit you should act like you have just been shot with a bullet. It’s your job to act this part out. Really get into it. Fall to the ground. Scream. Moan. Or simply collapse and lay still. This is your chance to add to the realism of the OP. Yell for a medic or a buddy. Each unit will have a medic with the training and equipment to treat your wounds and return you to the fighting as a reinforcement.
If there is an intense firefight underway it is OK for you to crawl out of the way or find some cover from the shooting. If you are concerned about your personal safety do not fall down - just move away from the combat until you are in an area you feel is safe. You may shout if you want the other game participants to hold their fire.
Your casualty card will determine the extent of your wound and how it should be treated. As the wounded soldier you don't need to worry about what the casualty card - these are for guiding the medic in how to treat you and return you to combat.
After you have been treated OP Centurion staff will return you to combat as a replacement.
SO.......................
If your sick of the same game and the same game mentalities THIS is the op for you!!!
