WWII
« on: March 09, 2010, 11:00:37 PM »
After seeing Fire Cracker's post, I remembered to post this...

I'm looking to make a WWII load out for D-Day this year.

What are some things different soldiers would carry? And for the sake of D-Day, what marines would carry.

I would prefer some cheap stuff (not in quality) but point me in the direction of gear, guns and other things.

I would like to base my load out around the Thompson Sub machine gun.

Thanks.

Oh that's right, sorry I was thinking Iwo-Jima! My bad. Oh, and I do know what I'm getting into, I was thinking maybe there was a cheap place I hadn't seen. I think my best bet is ebay, but I didn't know what you guys were thinking.

Also, I don't know what I'll spend total, but I figured I'd try to get a uniform and gun before D-Day, and then from there I would build on it. Unfortunately however, I am low on funds, so obviously it going to be difficult to aquire all that is necessary.
