Do you guys have an organized team or play as the airsoft club? I was wondering if you guys would like to have a game or skirmish with my squad. I would just like to play with some different people and different location.

A little bit of both. We have a team that isn't associated with the University, but is made up of UMAC members, and then we have the club that just likes to go out to the field for some skirmishes. Most games we just split up into teams once we arrive, but if you want to stick with your squad, that can be arranged. Also, most of the club uses the software that the university provided us with for communication, so you wont see much in this category.

I lived in Rockland for a while and thought about talking to you guys but things were real hectic. I have a little more time now and kinda want to check some more stuff out.  I like that area of the state and would be a good day trip. Do you guys play open like MSAF or you guys just play amongst yourselves? I checked some stuff out on Utube from you guys I think and it looks like a cool field. If you want we can stay in touch and if a good crowd is coming out we could come up or whatever.

We have open games like MSAF. We typically limit our play area the small CQB section you saw in the videos, but we have permission to use everything on that side of the road if enough people show up. A typical game there is 14 people. Keep an eye on this thread, I keep it updated when we're planning on having a game.

How deep is the snow? Is the field the same as last winter?

Looks like a really small game, there's a few people out sick, only 8 people signed up so far.

Dirigo, I haven't been out recently, but the snow should be fairly melted, around my house it's about 5 inches deep. I'll check either tomorrow or Friday. The field itself is usually fairly clear because of all the tree coverage, it's just the path in that gets deep. I wasn't able to attend many games last year because of my classes, but we did have a couple build days on which we built up two small bases, one about 100' to the left of the main CQB area, and one about 300' to the right of the CQB area. I'll try to get some pictures/video.

Also, I updated the waivers for 2010, you need to download and sign one of these and bring it with you if you go to the game:

I might be there next Saturday. I'm thinking about going up to hang out with my brother for a few days. Where is the field in relation to the school? Or a certain building on campus

You get onto College Ave. and follow it past the McDonalds in Old Town (the intersection of College Ave. and Stillwater Ave.) You just keep driving straight and the road turns to dirt. We all park on the side of the road next to a gated forest service road. If you see a small parking lot on your left with a path to the right, then you have gone about 300' past it.
