Anymore Sand Quarry games?
« on: January 01, 2009, 05:11:45 AM »
Hey all.

Was just thinking about past games and for some reason sand quarry/desert games as I remember them are ridiculously fun.
So then I was also thinking about that last quarry we played at. When the dump trucks were going in and out.
Annddd I figured as soon as the snow melts down and it's dry (I have something against wet/rainy games) we should have another game similar to the other one (I don't actually remember if there were objectives in that game.. I just shot people ^_^ ). Figured I would want to use this M4 (And M14) on you all so >:]

I agree, I liked the desert-like games most. They really made people work together I felt. Many don't feel the sand games are good though because they have to clean their gun after...which I just see as being normal, preventive maintenance for an AEG. Ask Duck if he has any suggestions, as we no longer have access to that particular sand pit.

S.A. is working with another team that may have good access to a pit this spring. I agree that pit games are awesome. I think the "Mayday" pit seemed more dusty then some of the others I have played at, and thats why there were a few people who had sand related issues. I say if you don't know how to do simple work on your gun, or are afraid things may break down, then this is the wrong sport for ya, lol.

i learned that my family actually owns one in buckfield here, i could talk with them and see if i can get a game scheduled there for the spring time. it would be very difficult to get in at this time since the snow on the road would be deep and i am guessing that it is not plowed. The pit is around 3/4 of a mile long, and has lots of defilades, dunes, and a cliff that overlooks the entire pit that can be used as a sniper post. there is also lots of surrounding woodlands that can be used also.

Wow. If you can get a game in that sand pit that would be amazing. Buying a used (but upgraded) Tokyo Marui M14/Soc16 with a real steel Kings Armament Corporation RAS on it.. You're all going down >:D
